Valley Village is a 2.09-square-mile district in San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, California.
The Valley Village is flanked with Studio City on the north, Sherman Oaks on the east, North Hollywood on the south/west, Ventura Freeway to the south.
According to the United States census of 2008, there were 25,665 inhabitants in the area with median household income $55,470. The neighborhood is moderately diverse and the breakdown was white 66.7%; Latino 18.9%; Black, 5.5%; Asian, 4.4%; and other, 4.4%. The median age 36 was old for the both county and city.
The average household size is exactly 2 people, a low percentage than rest of the city. Housing stock, apartments and houses held by the owners were 31.3% and the renters were occupied on larger part that is 68.7%.

Valley Village has an unstaffed park pocket park for recreation activities. Recreation Center of North Hollywood also serves Valley Village. The facilities recreation center provides are; an auditorium, lighted indoor baseball diamond courts, lighted outdoor baseball diamonds, lighted outdoor basketball courts, a children’s play area, lighted handball courts, picnic tables, an outdoor unheated seasonal pool, and lighted tennis courts. In addition the center has an indoor gymnasium which can be used as a second auditorium and a community room; the gymnasium’s capacity is 250 people.
